Deborah is an Ontario-based Designer Goldsmith who has mastered the technique of reticulation and uses this unique material in her distinctive work.

Reticulated silver is created with a special alloy of fine silver and copper and is treated by heat and acid baths to form a fine layer of silver on the surface. When the metal is heated near meting temperature, the fine silver skin cools faster than the interior and buckles, creating this unique veined texture.
