Jack Sures
Jack Sures has been an important figure in Canadian ceramics since the early 1960's. He received the Order of Canada for his work as a teacher and ceramicist. He has done a mural for the entrance of the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Hull, Quebec, and was a prize winner at the International Ceramics Competition at Mino, Japan in 1989.

*Received the Commemorative Medal on the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada in Recognition of Significant Contribution to Compatriots and to Canada.
*Elected to membership in the International Academy of Ceramics, Geneva, Switzerland.
*Honoured by the Government of Saskatchewan, Government House
*Received the Order of Canada
*Awarded Grand Prize in Design (Tile Work) 2nd International Ceramics Competition, Mino, Japan
*Nominated for Sadie Bronfman Award by Saskatchewan Craft Council
